Originally from India, he graduated in 1994 from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University in Chennai. He went on to serve at the Government Medical College in Kottayam and later ran a private practice in India before moving to the Middle East. He joined Dr. Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2004 after two years of private dental practice in Oman.

Dr. Sushil is fluent in English and Hindi, and he continues to update his professional qualifications, including certifications in Immediate Life Support (ILS) and radiation safety. He is also a proud member of the American Dental Association.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Sushil enjoys traveling, reading, and listening to music. Patients describe him as professional, calm, and incredibly patient-focused. With over 15 years of experience in dentistry, Dr. Raiha Rashid is known for her calm, gentle approach and dedication to personalised patient care. She graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences in India in 2001 and spent her early career in private practice after completing her house officer training in 2003.

Since joining the British International Dental Centre in 2010, Dr. Raiha has built a reputation for being thorough, soft-spoken, and especially comforting to patients who feel nervous about dental visits. She holds valid certifications in Immediate Life Support (ILS) and radiation safety, which are routinely updated to ensure top-tier safety standards.

Patients consistently praise her for explaining procedures clearly, offering helpful tips, and making every visit stress-free. One patient even called her “the dentist of our hearts”—a testament to her kind nature and gentle hands.

General Dentist

A highly professional practitioner with 20 years experience, Julia works closely with her dental team to create an optimal caring environment for her patients. Nurturing patient relationships, established on trust and understanding, she strives to make a visit to the dentist a positive experience for every patient. Emphasising the benefits of preventive treatment is an important aspect of Julia’s dental mission, helping patients towards achieving healthy, happy, lasting smiles.

Qualifying in 2000 from The School of Dental Sciences,in the UK, Julia studied dentistry in her home town of Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. She then completed a year of postgraduate training before embarking on a career in General Practice, working throughout the North East of England and London.

Aside from dentistry Julia enjoys playing tennis, sailing, skiing and sewing. Her favourite moments are spent with her husband and 2 young sons, catching up with friends and watching Newcastle United Football matches.

Dr. Leena was born in 1978 in India. She graduated as a dentist from Rajiv Gandhi University Banglore, India in 2003. In 2016 she obtained a diploma in hospital management. She is fluent in English and Hindi. She has 13 years experience in General Dentistry.

She joined Dr. Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2006 after 3 years of private practice in India. She organises Community School Dental Health programmes and is a member of the American Dental Association. She has a valid ILS (Immediate Life Support) and radiation license which are regularly updated.

Dr. Leena loves listening to music and has a beautiful singing voice.

With nearly three decades of experience, Dr. Shiby is a trusted name in family dentistry and a calming presence for patients of all ages. After graduating from Mangalore University in 1995, she completed a year of clinical attachment at Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, followed by five years in general dental practice.

Since joining Dr. Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2002, she has become especially beloved by nervous patients and children thanks to her gentle, reassuring technique that makes visits comfortable and fear-free. Dr. Shiby holds current certifications in Immediate Life Support (ILS) and radiation safety.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Shiby is passionate about prevention and enjoys visiting schools around Doha to teach children about the importance of oral health.

Patients describe her as caring, calm, and incredibly thorough. Many families have stayed with her for years, trusting her not only with their dental care but also with creating a warm, supportive atmosphere every time they visit. Dr. Deepu Mathew, was born and brought up in India. He graduated from Mangalore University in 1998. Dr. Deepu also holds a Fellowship in Cosmetic Dentistry from Medvarsity.

Dr. Deepu is an enthusiastic dental professional with more than 19 years of clinical experience. He had a successful clinical practice in India before moving to Doha in 2007.

Dr. Deepu’s approachable manner and ability to communicate effectively has led to acquiring a loyal patient following. Dr. Deepu is proficient in all aspects of general dentistry with particular interest in Restorative and Cosmetic dentistry.

In his free time, Dr. Deepu enjoys spending time with his family and loves exploring the latest gadgets.

Dr. Isra Ashi grew up in Cardiff, UK. She is a general dentist and provides dental consultations and treatments for the entire family. With many years of experience, she is most passionate about prevention and patient education, a ‘Minimally Invasive Dentistry’ approach to treatment, and excels in treating nervous patients. She was attracted to dentistry by the ability to affect a person’s confidence through their smile.  

She graduated from Cardiff University in 2008 with a BDS (Hons) and has worked within general practice and hospital settings across Wales. She recently moved to Doha and joined our team in 2022.  

She is registered on the British General Dental Council and regularly attends courses and webinars in order to keep up-to-date with the latest research and dental techniques. 

In her free time Dr. Isra enjoys being with her family and is a member of the PTA at her children’s school since her passions also include being involved community work whether that’s in her first home in Wales, or in Qatar. Over the last few years, she has also taken up geometric art with a special focus on Islamic Geometry. 

Dr Ammar is a General Dentist with over 15 years of experience and enthusiasm in all aspects of dentistry. He is fluent in Arabic, English and Norwegian. He has extra skills to help those with dental phobia.

He started his journey from Palestine, where he finished his first dental degree and worked as a dentist. In Norway he joined the University of Bergen to obtain his dental degree the Norwegian Master of Dentistry. He worked in Norway until joining the British International Dental Centre in 2022.

Dr Ammar is passionate about dental excellence and self-development. He constantly updates his knowledge with further diplomas and degrees.

Dr Ammar has 3 dental licenses: from Norway, Sweden and Palestine.

He is a member of The Norwegian Dental Association and the Norwegian Association for patients with dental anxiety. 

Dr Joe was born and grew up in Lebanon. He is a General Dentist interested in all aspects of dentistry. He is fluent in Arabic, French and English.

Dr Joe has a modern minimalistic approach to dentistry.

He graduated in 2013 from the University of Lebanon and has 9 years of clinical experience in his own dental centre in Beirut before joining the British International Dental Centre in 2022.

Dr Joe has a strong updated knowledge in dental aesthetics, tooth whitening and dental surgeries. He updates his knowledge with further diplomas and degrees. In 2015 he obtained the fellowship in implantology from the Lebanese Dental Association.

His sense of humour creates a comfortable, confident and caring atmosphere in his clinic. As Dr Joe says:" All you need is Love and Healthy teeth"

With more than 25 years of international experience, Dr. Osman Eltom brings a calm, professional presence and a deep commitment to delivering top-quality general dental care. His approach is centred on making every patient feel at ease, empowered, and well-informed.

A graduate of Palacký University in the Czech Republic, Dr. Osman earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (MUDr) in 1998. He then completed a comprehensive three-year full-time residency program, gaining broad expertise across all areas of dentistry—including restorative and preventive care, endodontics, prosthodontics, oral surgery and periodontics. He also holds a Certificate of Specialisation in Dentistry from the Czech Republic’s Institute of Postgraduate Education.

From 2004 to 2023, Dr. Osman practiced in the United Kingdom, where he built a strong reputation for his clinical precision, gentle care, and ability to explain even the most complex treatment plans clearly. His long-standing academic career—including over a decade as an Assistant Professor at Palacký University’s School of Medicine and Dentistry—also reflects his dedication to excellence and continuous learning.

Now based at the British International Dental Centre in Doha, Dr. Osman focuses on restorative dentistry, oral health education, pain-free treatments, and personalized care strategies to suit each patient’s unique needs. Fluent in English, Arabic, and Czech, he is known for his excellent communication and ability to make patients feel truly cared for.

Dr. Neha is a dedicated and compassionate dental professional who grew up in Doha and brings a deep understanding of the community she serves. She graduated from Christian Dental College in 2024, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based, patient-focused care.

Fluent in both English and Hindi, Dr. Neha is passionate about preventive dentistry and believes that most dental diseases can—and should—be identified and managed early. Her gentle approach, clear communication, and commitment to patient education help empower individuals to take charge of their oral health.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Neha enjoys staying active through fitness, unwinding with music, and challenging her mind with puzzles. Her well-rounded interests and calm demeanor help her connect with patients of all ages.
