Dr.Sarah born 1965 in Kingston upon Thomes U.K. Dr.Sarah graduated from Royal London in 1989. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and is commited to providing first class general dental care for her patients.
In 1994 she opened her first clinic in Doha. Her successful clinic expanding into Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2004. As a director of the centre she introduced fourth generation dentistry and a team approach to enable us to provide the best dental care possible for you.
Her dental philosophy is highly prevention focused. Most dental diseases are preventable. She is also education focused supporting Community Health programmes for schools in Doha as well as the continuing education of all the members of Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre.
Dr.Sarah is a member of the advisory committee for dental assistants at the College of North Atlantic Doha.
She is also a member of the British Dental Association and the American Dental Association.

Dr Thomas C Kappen

Dr Thomas Kappen is truly unique and international with qualifications from three different continents. He received his BDS in 1988 and MSD in Periodontics in 1992 from India. He completed his MSD in Orthodontics at St Louis Unniversity, USA, in 1996. He has a MOrthRCSEd in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. In 2005 he was awarded the American Board of Orthodontics Certification.
He joined the Dr.Sarah's Specialist Dental Centre in 2002. His speciality is in Orthodontic treatment for children and adults. He enjoys the latest types of orthodontic treatment: removable and fixed orthodontics including cosmetic braces ,metal braces, Damon Self Ligating Braces. Speed Braces and Invisible Orthodontic Treatment.

Cosmetic Consultant
Dr. Ahmed was born and brought up in Egypt. He graduated from Cairo University in 1994 .He is fluent in English and Arabic.
Dr. Ahmed brings to Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre more than 14 years of experience in Restorative Dentistry. He provides Dental Implants and treatment for complex restorative and cosmetic procedures including immediate fixation of loose dentures.
Dr. Ahmed is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (UK). He is also member of the International Association of Dental Research (USA) and Egyptian Dental Association.
He joined Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2005 and is currently studying for his Ph.D.

Dr.Sushil was born and brought up in India. He is fluent in English and Hindi. He graduated from the Dr.M.G.R.Medical University Madras, India in 1994 and worked as the duty dental surgeon for the dental casualty service at Government Medical college Kottayam, India in 1997. He had a private practice in India before coming to the Middle East.
He is a general dentist with over 13 years of experience and joined Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2004 after 2 years of private practice in the Sultanate of Oman. He is member of the American Dental Association. Hobbies include travelling, reading, listening to music

Dr.Fady Alian was born in Birmingham, England and is a British citizen of Egyptian origin. He is fluent in English and Arabic. He joined Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2008.
Dr.Fady is specialized in providing root canal treatments and complex restorative procedures. He is a Consultant in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh ( UK) with over 14 years of clinical experience, an assistant professor of Endodontics with over ten years of academic and teaching experience in Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry.
Dr.Fady Alian is a member of the American Association of Endodontics, Egyptian Association of Endodontics and the Egyptian Dental Association.
Dr.Fady Alian is the Regional Consultant for Special Olympics International for North Africa and the Middle East.

Dr.Leena was born in 1978 in India. She was graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University Banglore, India in 2003. She is fluent in English and Hindi .She has 6 years experience in General Dentistry.
She joined Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2006 after 3 years of private practice in India. She orginises Community School Dental Health programmes and is a member of the American Dental Association.
Dr.Leena love listening to music and has a beautiful singing voice. |

Dr.Nour Alaa Eldeen Mohammed Zourab was born in Doha in 1983 and grew up in Doha, Qatar.
She is Fluent in Arabic and English.
She graduated from Ain Shams Univrsity, Cairo, Egypt 2006.
She is enthusiastic about all aspects of General Dentistry and joined Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2009. Dr.Nour is Member of the Egyptian Dental Union and regularly attends post – graduate courses.
She has a valid ILS (Immediate Life Support) and radiation license which are regularly updated.
In her spare time she enjoys cooking, reading and travelling.

Dr. Nicole Nicolas Ghafari
DMD, AEGD
Dental Surgeon
Dr Nicolas Ghafari was born in Lebanon but lived all her life in Montreal, Canada. She graduated from McGill University (Canada) with a DMD degree (Doctor of Dental Medicine) and further trained in the United States where she obtained an AEGD certificate (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) from University of Florida in Tampa, Florida.
American and Canadian boards certified, she holds three Dental Licenses allowing her to practice dentistry in Qatar, United States and Canada. Her multidisciplinary training permits her to provide dental care in all facets of dentistry (from restorative, to dental surgeries - including periodontal surgeries and implant placement). Having been involved in private practice, hospital and academic settings, since 2004, she had the privilege to provide emergency, routine dental care and education to patients and dental students from different nationalities. She is fluent in Arabic, English, French and speak some Spanish. Her goal is to provide the highest standard of care to her patients. Continous improvement is not only a philosophy, but a way of life for Dr. Nicole. Her hobbies are public health, continuous education courses, and teaching swimming |

Dr.Housam Saadlla Salma

Oral Surgeon.
Dr.Housam was born and brought up in Syria in 1976. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
Before joining Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2009 Dr.Housam has worked in Saudi Arabia for 4 years in King Fahad Hospital (2005 – 2007).
He graduated from Damascus University in 1999(D.D.S) and received his masters degree in 2004 from Syria. Dr.Housam is an Oral Surgeon, with a license to practice his speciality in both Qatar and Saudi Arabia .
He provides consultations and treatment for impacted or broken teeth as well as for more specialized endodontic and prosthetic surgeries.
Currently he is a member of the Syrian Dental Association. He has a valid ILS(Immediate Life Support) and radiation license which are regularly updated.
He is married and has one gorgeous son. |

Dr.Hameeda Bashir

Dr.Hameeda Bashir was born and raised in Doha. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and Urdu.
She is enthusiastic about all aspects of General Dentistry , especially Orthodontics.
Dr.Hameeda joined Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2009 and is currently licensed in Doha as a hygienist. She graduated from Jinnah Medical and Dental College (Pakistan) in 2005 and further trained and successfully completed the ASWFO’s “Extended Program in Orthodontics” and obtained the C –Ortho diploma, from Academy of Straight Wire and Functional Orthodontics.
Dr.Hameeda is a member of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council.
In her spare time she enjoys swimming, music, and internet surfing. |

Dr. Fareeda Bashir Ahmed

Dr.Fareeda was born in Doha, Qatar in 1978 and grew up here. She is fluent in Arabic, English, and Urdu. Dr.Fareeda brings 5 years of experience to Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre. She enjoys all aspects of General Dentistry and is currently licensed as a Dental Hygienest in Doha.
In 2005 she graduated from FJDC University (Pakistan) with BDS degree (Bachelor in Dental Surgery)
Dr.Fareeda completed a C-orthodontic diploma course in the USA in 2006.
She is a Member in Academy of Straight Wire and Functional Orthodontics, and a member of Pakistan Medical and Dental Council. |

Dr.Rulla Aswad,

Specialist in Periodontics.
Dr.Rulla joined Dr.Sarah’s Specialist Dental Centre in 2009. She is a periodontist and brings more than ten years of clinical and academic experience in General Dentistry, Periodontology and Oral Implantology to our centre.
Dr.Rulla’s professional expertise include: conventional surgical and non–surgical periodontal treatment, hard and soft tissue regeneration, placement of dental implants and abutments and periodontal plastic surgery.
She is fluent in English and Arabic.
Dr.Rulla qualified from Damascus University, School of Dentistry in 2000. She completed her Post-Graduate speciality in Periodontology and Oral Implantology at Temple University, Kornberg School of Dentistry (USA). Dr.Rulla holds a master degree in Oral Biology.
Dr.Rulla also holds:
• Diplomate and Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
• Membership of the American Academy of Periodontology.
• Diplomate from the International Misch Implant Institute in Implant Surgery and Advanced Bone Grafting.
Dr.Rulla has a multidisciplinary approach to dentistry with a focus on “designing smiles and loving it”. |
